Part 2 of our Luxurious Glitter Virtual Wedding Fair is here (yey!) and I'll be talking you through some of the fantastic suppliers I've met that are available to help you celebrate the evening part of your big day.
Just quickly though, I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU for all your feedback and shares across social media with our Virtual Wedding Fair - Part 1 – it’s a really great feeling to be spreading the word of fellow wedding suppliers in these really testing times and supporting one and other in the little ways we can. Such a rewarding feeling.
So here it is anyway, part 2 of our virtual wedding fair!
Let me set the scene. You’ve chosen your dress and makeup artist, the deposit’s down for your photographer and venue and you’ve chatted about your dream stationery and cake. Now it’s time to look at food and entertainment to see you right into the evening!
There are so many epic choices available when it comes to food at your wedding and other than you (obviously!), this is often the main focal point at a wedding. So, what will you go for? Whether it’s a classic sit-down meal, a relaxed BBQ, buffet or sumptuous grazing table, you’ve got to go with something that’s in fit with you and your day.
ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE… AND PIZZA?
Yes, pizza! Literally everyone’s favourite! We had the lovely Cowabunga Pizza crew throughout the evening at our wedding. They cruised the crowds with their pizza so everyone could grab a slice and eat while chatting. Their pizza is beyond delicious and they cater for everyone with lots of yummy meaty, vegan, veggie and even tomato-less pizza options. I’ve just seen that they’re also working carrying out pizza deliveries during this coronavirus pandemic (locally) – hats off to you guys!

MY GRILL’S HOTTER THAN YOURS
Perhaps you’re having an outdoor wedding, and you’re looking for something relaxed and filling to feed your crowd on their feet? You really can’t go wrong with a BBQ.
Using the best in British produce, the food Up In My Grill serve looks absolutely mouthwatering.

We had the Hungry Hog BBQ team at our wedding serving up their heavenly barbeque and their food was next level amazing – everyone was raving about it and heading back for seconds. As well as their epic hog roasts and grilled meats, their vegan and veggie options were absolutely delicious, too.

OLIVE YOU!
For Mediterranean and Italian food, you should check out My Kitchen, Your Place. Their food is out of this world and as well as offering a sublime sit-down service, they have an extremely cool vintage French Fire Truck that they’ve converted into their mobile kitchen which they service street food from on your day. This would also double up as an excellent backdrop for your wedding pictures.

MEET ME ON THE DANCEFLOOR
Now you’ve seen what’s available to eat, I'm going to entertain you!
If rock, pop, Britpop and indie covers are your thing, then check Shine On Band out. Their repertoire of rock and indie hits are sure to fill your dancefloor.

If you’re thinking you’d like a DJ then I have two to share with you. We had Rememberies at our wedding and OMG, Will knows how to read and fill a dancefloor! He also offers a few addons to his service, including light up letters, lights, photobooths and musicians.

Next up is Essex based duo, Fox and Braces. With their rustic set up and five-star rating, these guys are recommended at some of the very best venues across Essex. As well as floor-filling DJ sets, they also have epic neon signs for hire and a photobooth.

Next to these guys, we have Lisa from Light Up Letters Essex. Lisa will fill your venue with any words or lettering you like – great for photo opportunities and to really illuminate your evening!
