As you can probably tell by now, we’re always experimenting with new designs and shoot ideas and we had a recent request in that called for additional face paint.
A couple of the team are well trained in this area already, but Naomi and I wanted in on the action (as usual!), so we booked on to a pro course at Eleven 16 Studios, next door and sister company of The Face Painting Shop. Side note: If you haven’t been there before and you love face paint, then you really should go! Their main shop is an Aladdin’s cave for all things face painting... brushes, stencils (Natalie designs her own range), special XF makeup and accessories. You name, they’ve got it.
Anyway. There we were, ready to learn. The morning covered all the basic brush strokes and application techniques and as always, we got stuck right in. Here’s our efforts… Tiger face, butterfly and these super cute flowers!
It was really good to get creative and a great morning for us. Huge thanks to Natalie for being an amazing teacher. We’re already looking at the next course!
